Imagine Live Games has received a Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licence.

This will allow the online casino game provider to offer its suite to operators in a variety of European jurisdictions.

While the list of countries for the MGA licence isn’t exhaustive， it does include Sweden， Finland， Ireland， Germany and Poland.

The Type 1 licence authorises games of chance， which will cover titles from Imagine Live Games such as Blackjack， Classic Roulette， Auto Roulette， Baccarat and Dynamite Roulette.

Many of these are also available in differing modes， including Gold， Classic， Auto and Speed Auto.

Despite only being recently founded in 2022， the Armenian-based company launched its own dedicated studio on 7 November as part of a strategic partnership.

Imagine Live Games released its American Roulette on 2 November，Professional Baccarat Forum with art deco themes， followed by the two-card version of baccarat， Dragon Tiger， on 14 December.

This studio is fully branded and has tables for its roulette and blackjack offerings， as well as a further 11 tables in the studio for a network blackjack offering.

The MGA itself has also undergone several changes recently， appointing Charles Mizzi as its CEO just before Christmas.

Mizzi will succeed Carl Brincat and the appointment will be effective in the new year.

This is part of a new trajectory for the MGA， which has started to clamp down on its regulatory powers this past year.

In the first half of 2023 alone， the Authority held 14 compliance audits， 85 desktop reviews， issued 23 warnings， cancelled four licenses and suspended another five.

Nine administrative penalties were also issued by the authority， with one still underway.
